“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”

HI! I'M ALLAN
Helping You Move Forward...one step at a time.
What does 5 Fifths represent? 5 Fifths began in 2000 when my wife and I were married. 10 years later we had three children to complete the "five fifths". If you know your fractions, five fifths makes a whole. I am complete and whole, despite life’s circumstances, because of the five members of my family. One cannot be influenced or grow without the other. Our experiences in life help make us who we are today.
Likewise, I believe there are five basic components to each of us: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational. These five-fifths are a representation of a holistic approach to understanding who you are and where you want to go. On the stairs of life, these five components will show up on every step. They are not independent of each other, but dependent. Each step will require all five areas working together to become a whole.
Since 2000, I’ve worked to help others break through obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. I am here to help my clients achieve a more positive outlook on life, and provide them with all the tools necessary to get them there. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals...to get unstuck.

“In the end you don’t so much find yourself as you find someone who knows who you are.”
Robert Brault

HOW DID I GET HERE?
Life Coach
I am a product of negative thinking of almost 30 years. During that time I felt as though I was underachieving and had wasted most of my life. These negative thoughts controlled me and their grip on my life finally broke when I chose to use self-awareness to pursue happiness.
WHAT CHANGE LOOKS LIKE?
I have been walking this road through self-development for over 15 years. My journey began by returning to school with a family of five. After completing a bachelor's in Education from UW Oshkosh, there have been a few twists and turns as I have spent time in education and as a pastor. Along the way, I pursued and achieved a master's in Life Coaching from Liberty University. My current pursuits, to be the best coach I can be, are directed towards continuing certifications for CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Confidence, Emotional Intelligence, Health and Nutrition, Career, and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

Great news! I have completed my certification training for REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy). You can see my badge at the bottom of the webpage. Another badge I wear with pride because it allows me to help you better.
The best part of working with others and helping them achieve greater joy and satisfaction in there lives is I receive the same joy and purpose in my life also. A wonderful side-effect of coaching is not only my past achievements and current developments, but the continuing learning I receive from helping others. Negative thinking of the past has become the blessings and achievements I have and continue to enjoy.
Most importantly, I help you get unstuck from where you are and take the first step towards a new "YOU".
WHY
Began to find purpose, passion, and people to share in my fulfillment.
HOW
With a family of five, began a journey for a degree in education. If you want different results, you have to do something different.
WHAT
Returning for a masters to become a Life Coach was a fulfillment of passion and a blessing which took drive and motivation.

“I am here for this.”

I'm pleased to announce my certification in REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy). What is REBT?

R stands for rational, and it tells us the truth that most of the time, humans’ thinking is pretty irrational. The good news is that when we think more rationally, our lives are better.
E stands for emotive, and it tells us that our emotions are affected by what happens, but not directly by what happens... it is our irrational thinking about what happens that causes our negative emotions.
B stands for behavioral, and it tells us that most of the time we act based on how we feel, and as we just said how we feel depends on what we think about what is happening around us.
T stands for therapy, or in this case it stands for teaching or training or techniques, and it refers to the fact that this is a process that can be LEARNED.
